The Ventilator: Garlic Onion Broccoli Juice

PrintShare

Garlic:Wikipedia.orgOkay, (some of) you asked for it. So, here it is!  I call it The Ventilator because when you make and drink this juice, every mucus membrane in your body will drain. Well, that’s the way I felt like when encountered it. The apple in this recipe helps… a little.

The motivation for this drink was to find way to enjoy garlic juice. Garlic has strong antibiotic properties, one clove of raw garlic has the antibacterial strength of a 1/4 dose of penicillin.  I used a red onion, but if you want to dial it down a notch, try a yellow onion. Warning: This drink is intense!

Broccoli - Wikipedia.orgIngredients:

  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 stalk broccoli
  • 1 apple
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 onion (yellow or red)

Instructions:

  • Wash all ingredients.
  • Peel onion and garlic.
  • Cry.
  • Juice.
  • Cry. Hang on.
  • Enjoy.

Off The Grid Health Recommends:

  • Using organic ingredients wherever possible.
  • Use firm, tart, and juicy apple like an granny smith.
  • Washing your juicer immediately after making this juice to reduce traces of onion and garlic.

Thanks to Pat Crocker for the original recipe.
