I struggled with food addiction for decades. I knew what to do, but just couldn’t do it until it almost cost me my life. Dr. Doug Lisle knows why this happens to so many of us and knows how to break this cycle.  Seriously, this video could save a life.

I followed the steps he described before I knew of his research. Now, I understand why I am in better control of my food choices.  Dr. Lisle was featured in the documentary Forks Over Knives and is the author of the Pleasure Trap. I met Dr. Lisle recently outside of the Farms 2 Forks event in Atlanta. He is humble, brilliant, and very approachable.

His insight into human behavior is captured in his presentation at TEDx Fremont.  Please share this post with anyone you want to love or be friends with… longer.  Enjoy!

A very brilliant man. It is so good to hear from someone who has not only studied the issues but lived through them to come out the other side better. Great video.

I also suffered a similar food addiction but needed outside help to get me over it. I appreciate you sharing this story it can only inspire those in similar situations.
